Event Venue Coordinator
Job summary
We are seeking a dedicated, proactive Venue Coordinator to manage the day-to-day operations of our 3-in-1 event space in Ikeja. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring every event is a success, the property is well-maintained, and our guests receive a premium experience from the moment they arrive for an inspection.

Responsibilities:
- First Point of Contact: Meet with new clients coming for venue inspection, answer their questions, and handle all booking inquiries.
- Vendor Management: Supervise external vendors (decorators, caterers, etc.) to ensure timely setup while following our event space rules.
- Staff Supervision: Manage the security and cleaners to ensure the space is always safe and spotless without being overbearing.
- Event Oversight: Stay on-site during events to make sure nothing is damaged and that everything runs smoothly for the client.
- General Management: Take full responsibility for the space, ensuring all facilities (ACs, lights, etc.) are working perfectly at all times.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in Events management, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is an advantage.
- Must be a proactive person who can solve problems quickly and promptly.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Must be comfortable working weekends and staying late when there is an event.
- Living near Ikeja is an added advantage.
Work Mode:
- Regular workdays are Tuesday to Saturday, except when events are scheduled on Sunday or Monday.
- Attendance is required on any day the space is booked. We also stop all events by 10 PM.
- Additionally, bonuses are at management’s discretion

Note: This is an event space, not a typical corporate role. Events will fall on weekdays, weekends, and public holidays, and events can run late. We try to keep Mondays as an off day, but this may change based on bookings.
