Role Overview
We are looking for a results-driven Direct Sales Associate to help expand HauteApp’s user base by engaging fashion entrepreneurs, tailors, and boutique owners. This role involves reaching out to prospects via calls, WhatsApp, social media, and field activations to present the value of HauteApp, convert leads into paying subscribers, and support them through onboarding.
Success in this role requires strong communication, persuasion, goal-setting discipline, and the ability to thrive in a remote sales environment.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Lead Conversion
- Generate leads from online inquiries, referrals, social platforms, and cold outreach.
- Present HauteApp’s features, pricing, and benefits clearly to prospects.
- Manage follow-ups and overcome objections to close subscriptions.
- Build trust with prospects through consistent communication.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to align campaigns and offers.
Customer Relationship & Support
- Guide new users through onboarding and app setup.
- Add onboarded users to the HauteApp General Community Group.
- Work with the Customer Experience team to address inquiries or escalations.
- Gather customer feedback and share insights with Product and Marketing.
Reporting & Coordination
- Document daily outreach and conversions using approved tools.
- Meet weekly and monthly sales targets.
- Participate in virtual meetings, reviews, and performance discussions.
- Maintain accurate customer interaction records.
Telesales (Where Applicable)
- Execute outbound call campaigns to warm and cold leads.
- Track call outcomes in the CRM or sales log.
- Support digital campaigns by converting online sign-ups.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Daily/weekly qualified lead volume
- Lead-to-paid conversion rate
- User retention after first use
- Timeliness and accuracy of reporting
- Positive customer and team feedback
Required Skills & Qualifications
- HND or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
- Proven experience in direct sales, telesales, or customer outreach
- Excellent verbal communication and persuasive selling ability
- Strong familiarity with social media and WhatsApp Business
- Self-driven and able to work with minimal supervision
- Basic computer proficiency (Google Sheets, CRM tools, email)
- Passion for technology and understanding of the fashion/tailoring ecosystem (added advantage)
