Cashier

Responsibilities:

• Provide friendly and professional customer service at all times online & offline.
• Greet customers, answer their questions and assist them with their purchases.
• Offer product suggestions and provide detailed information on product features and benefits online and offline
• Resolve customer complaints or concerns in a calm and efficient manner.
• Accurately process sales transactions using cash registers or electronic payment systems.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments securely and in compliance with company policies.
• Scan and weigh products, input prices, and calculate discounts as applicable.
• Offer gift cards, loyalty programs, and promotional opportunities to customers.
• Maintain the accuracy of inventory by conducting regular stock checks and reporting discrepancies to supervisors.
• Stay up-to-date with product knowledge, including new arrivals, special promotions, and company policies.
• Assist customers with locating products of interest and provide accurate information regarding product availability.
• Proactively suggest and upsell related products to enhance the customer's shopping experience.
• Collate Products Register, and Database both online and offline 
• Ensure that the checkout area is clean, organized, and properly stocked.
• Monitor and replenish supplies such as shopping bags, cash register rolls, and receipt paper.
• Collaborate with the store team to maintain overall store cleanliness and presentation.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Follow cash handling procedures and maintain accuracy with cash reconciliation.
• Assist in preventing theft by maintaining awareness and reporting any suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.

Requirements:

• Minimum academic qualification of a Bachelor's degree in any related discipline 
  
• Minimum of 2 years of proven work experience
• Excellent interpersonal and people skills
• Proficiency in using collaboration and productivity tools
