Job Summary
We are seeking a smart, motivated, and detail-oriented Business & Compliance Officer with 1–2 years of relevant experience. The successful candidate will support corporate services, compliance, and business operations, including document review, regulatory compliance, and committee support. This role is ideal for a young professional with a background in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or related fields, who is eager to grow and branch into the oil & gas sector.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Review business, contractual, and compliance documents, and prepare summaries, queries, or recommendations for management/committee review.
- Support compliance with regulatory bodies such as PENCOM, ITF, NSITF, DPR/NUPRC, NITDA, NCEC, TCC, and other statutory agencies.
- Maintain accurate compliance records, reports, and filings.
- Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and meeting documents for management and committees.
- Conduct basic business and financial reviews to support decision-making.
- Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders on compliance and business matters.
- Provide administrative and corporate services support as required.
- Stay informed on industry regulations, compliance requirements, and governance standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related discipline.
- 1–2 years of experience in compliance, business administration, corporate services, or document review/analysis. Related work: 1 year (Preferred).
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of accounting principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and report-writing abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience in or exposure to the oil & gas industry is an advantage, but not mandatory.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to review, analyse, and provide insights on documents.
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and take on new responsibilities.
- Integrity, professionalism, and strong work ethic.
Remuneration: NGN 100,000 - 120,000
