Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic direction and guidance to branch managers to achieve business objectives and targets.
  • Monitor branch performance, including loan portfolio quality, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth and expand the customer base.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular branch visits to assess operational efficiency, staff performance, and customer service standards.
  • Foster a positive work environment, promote teamwork, and provide mentoring and coaching to branch staff.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as finance, risk, and marketing, to ensure smooth operations and effective product offerings.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Prepare and present reports on branch performance, market insights, and recommendations for improvement to senior management.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the microfinance industry, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven track record of achieving business targets and driving branch profitability.
  • Strong knowledge of microfinance operations, including loan disbursement, recovery, and risk management.
  • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Sound understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance in the microfinance sector.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel frequently within the designated area.
