Video Editor

Responsibilities:

• Edit high-quality short-form and long-form videos for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other digital platforms.
• Create engaging cuts, transitions, motion graphics, captions, and visual effects that enhance storytelling.
• Perform colour correction, audio balancing, and basic sound design to deliver polished content.
• Collaborate with the content strategy and production teams to bring creative concepts to life.
• Organise and manage project files, ensuring efficient workflow and timely delivery.
• Stay up to date with current editing trends, platform best practices, and emerging content styles.
• Ensure all videos meet brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual identity.
• Revise edits based on feedback while meeting project deadlines.

Requirements:

• Minimum of a BSC.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Video Editor.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects is an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, composition, and visual aesthetics.
• Experience editing content for social media platforms, particularly Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
• Basic knowledge of colour grading, audio editing, and motion graphics.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and time management skills.
• A strong portfolio showcasing previous editing work is required.
• Experience with sound design and music synchronization.
• Familiarity with AI-powered editing tools and creative workflows.
• Understanding of social media content performance and audience retention techniques.
