Job Description/Requirements
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Identify reliable suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships.
- Prepare and process purchase orders, requisitions, and related documents.
- Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, standards, and ethical practices.
- Monitor market trends, pricing, and product availability to optimize purchasing decisions.
- Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities.
- Supervise the receipt, storage, and issuance of materials and supplies.
- Maintain accurate stock records and ensure proper documentation of all store transactions.
- Conduct periodic stock checks and reconcile physical stock with records.
- Implement proper inventory control systems to minimize wastage, losses, and obsolescence.
- Ensure cleanliness, safety, and proper arrangement of store items.
- Maintain reorder levels and ensure timely replenishment of stock.
- Prepare procurement and store budgets and ensure cost-effective purchasing.
- Track spending and ensure adherence to approved budgets.
- Prepare periodic reports on procurement activities, stock levels, and supplier performance.
- Supervise and train store and procurement personnel.
- Assign tasks, monitor performance, and promote teamwork.
- Foster a culture of accountability, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
