Role Description This remote internship role as a Management Trainee in Bid Writing and Proposal Development focuses on supporting the development of competitive bids and funding proposals for research and evaluation projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with opportunity scanning, gathering and organizing background information, and supporting the drafting of technical and financial proposal sections under supervision. The trainee will help prepare capability statements, update proposal templates, and contribute to timelines, work plans, and partner coordination documents. The role also involves proofreading proposal documents, ensuring compliance with donor and client requirements, and maintaining accurate records in proposal tracking systems. The trainee will collaborate with senior staff, attend internal planning meetings, and learn standard practices in proposal development, budgeting, and project documentation.
Qualifications
- Beneficial qualifications include familiarity with development and humanitarian sectors, donor-funded projects, or experience in research, monitoring and evaluation, or data analysis
