Job Requirements :
In the role of HR Officer, in Nigeria you will work closely with the Regional HR Manager and will be responsible for managing all operations related to HR activities at the plant level in compliance with legal requirements and the company policies and procedures. This include but are not limited to recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, ensuring data accuracy in the company HRIS, reporting, payroll, administrative management, employee relations, policy, and procedure application, supporting performance management processes, talent review, managing social relations, and advising managers on HR policies and procedure application. The HR Officer will collaborate closely with other departments to ensure that HR practices are aligned with business objectives.

Major Duties - Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Ensure that all open position is timely filled, and candidate receive proper onboarding, Oversee administrative management, including recruitment, onboarding, and termination processes. Administer payroll and benefits programs in compliance with applicable law and company policies. Manage HR data and reporting, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all employee records. Develop and maintain positive employee relations, including managing employee grievances and conducting investigations as necessary. Advise managers on HR policies and procedures and support them in their application. Coordinate at local level the performance management processes, including performance evaluations, goal setting, and development plans. Collaborate with Manager during talent reviews and identify development needs to support the retention of key employees and support implementation of the succession plan for Nigeria. Manage social relations and ensure that labor laws and regulations are followed. Ensure that HR practices are aligned with business objectives. • Participate in special projects as needed. Recommends changes in benefits offered, especially new benefits aimed at employee satisfaction and retention. Keeps the Regional HR Manager informed of significant problems that jeopardize the achievement of company goals and those that are not being addressed adequately at the line management level. Manage the relationship between ContourGlobal Nigeria and social agencies (Social Security, pensions, insurance ... ...) Participate to HR projects in assistance to Regional HR ManagerQualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field Minimum of 5 years of experience as HR generalist Sound Knowledge of Nigeria labor laws and regulations Experience Managing payroll working with outsourced resource. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills Excellent communication and people skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain data accuracy. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Prior experience using success factor will be a plus.
