We are seeking an experienced Facility Manager to ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of the organization’s physical spaces. The role oversees daily building operations, manages vendors, and coordinates maintenance, ensuring facilities remain safe, functional, and supportive of staff, artists, and visitors.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily building operations, ensuring a safe, secure, and fully functional environment for staff, artists, visitors, and events.
  • Manage all maintenance activities, including routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of facility systems.
  • Coordinate installations, repairs, upgrades, and modifications to support exhibitions, programs, and creative activities.
  • Supervise contractors, technicians, and service providers, ensuring work is completed efficiently, on schedule, and to required standards.
  • Ensure timely response to maintenance requests, repair issues, and facility emergencies.
  • Monitor and maintain facility equipment, infrastructure, and utilities to ensure optimal functioning and longevity.
  • Manage relationships with contractors, vendors, and service providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring quality service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and relevant regulations to maintain a secure environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and facility-related documentation.
  • Support operational planning for events, exhibitions, and other creative programs by ensuring facilities are prepared and functional.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of facility management policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned by management.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Building Technology, Estate Management, or a related field. 
  • 2-3 years of experience as a Facility Manager.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in maintenance and operations.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental compliance.
  • Ability to manage budgets, contracts, and vendors efficiently.
  • Composed and proactive in fast-paced or emergency situations.
  • Proficiency in facility management operations and building maintenance.
  • Working knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Familiarity with Computer-Aided Facility Management (CAFM) and Building Management Systems (BMS).
  • Understanding of vendor management, contracts, and procurement processes.
  • Basic knowledge of budgeting, cost control, and resource allocation.
  • Familiarity with emergency preparedness, risk management, and safety protocols.
  • Working knowledge of energy management, sustainability practices, and space planning.
