Job Summary

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligning with curriculum standards for Grades 1-6.
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment promoting student participation and learning.
- Assess student progress; prepare reports and communicate with parents/guardians
- Prepare lesson plans, learning materials, and resources, ensuring effective delivery.
- Manage classroom behavior, ensuring safety and conducive learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues, HODs, and school management for academic excellence.
- Participate in school activities, professional development, and parent-teacher engagements.
- Maintain accurate records of students’ performance, attendance, etc.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education/Primary Education or a related field.
- Teaching qualification/certification (e.g., NCE, B.Ed).
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience at the elementary/primary level.
- Knowledge of the Nigerian and British curricula and ability to adapt to international best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with diverse learners, including pupils with special needs.
- Proficiency in using educational technology for teaching/learning.
