Responsibilities:
- Plan all lessons in the weekly plan book, including details of lesson objectives, teaching methodologies, homework (where appropriate), and opportunities for differentiated teaching.
- Establish and enforce rules for behaviour and procedures to maintain order among students.
- Set clear goals for all lessons and projects and share those goals with students.
- Consult with other staff members to plan and schedule lessons that promote learning, following approved curricula.
- Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to cater to students’ diverse needs and interests.
- Keep records of students’ assessment results, progress feedback, or school performance, while ensuring the confidentiality of these records.
- Provide feedback to students, using positive reinforcement techniques to encourage, motivate, or build confidence in students
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in education
- Minimum of three years’ teaching experience in upper primary
- Valid teaching certification/PGDE or currently in progress
- Excellent level of English( Spoken and Written)
- Strong classroom management
- Modern teaching methods
- Digital literacy and utilisation of technological tools
