Main Duties and Responsibilities:
To identify, evaluate and develop new business opportunities.
To identify prospects, generate leads and develop sales strategies to convert into new accounts.
To leverage on knowledge of industry trends and client challenges to develop and deliver compelling value propositions.
To assist in the assessment, design, and development of technical bidding requirements.
To support the development of project proposals; employ data gathering techniques and analysis in order to present proposed solutions to clients.
To monitor the company’s performance against agreed targets.
To manage client expectations throughout the sales cycle and closing process.
To develop and manage a pipeline of opportunities.
To attend networking events and conferences in order to promote sales.
Required Experience and Job-Specific Skills:
B.Sc./HND in Business Management, Marketing or related Engineering disciplines.
Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar position in related organizations.
Conversant with regulatory and government agencies- NIPEX, NAPIMS, DPR, NCDMB, NSITF, ITF, etc.
Ample knowledge of business development within the oil and gas industry, with track records.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Knowledgeable in tender packaging.
Highly skilled in negotiation and pricing.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to complete tasks on time.
Member of Professional Body will be an added advantage.
