We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Retail SME Officer to join our team, specializing in supporting small and medium-sized enterprises within the retail sector. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing tailored financial solutions, fostering client relationships, and contributing to the growth and success of retail SME clients.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis for retail SME clients, evaluating key performance indicators, sales trends, and inventory management.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with retail SME clients, understanding their unique challenges and financial needs.
  • Strategic Financial Guidance: Provide strategic financial advice and solutions to retail SME clients, assisting in decision-making processes related to expansion, inventory management, and cash flow.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay informed about retail industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes to provide relevant and up-to-date financial guidance.
  • Credit Assessment: Assess the creditworthiness of retail SME clients, review loan applications, and ensure compliance with risk management policies.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and sales, to develop comprehensive solutions for retail SME clients.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports, performance analyses, and recommendations to internal stakeholders and retail SME clients.
  • Education and Training: Provide financial education and training to retail SME clients, empowering them to make informed financial decisions.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2 - 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Proven experience in financial analysis, with a focus on retail SMEs.
  • Understanding of retail industry dynamics, including inventory turnover


Remuneration: NGN
