Assist supervise and manage the administrative and operational functions of a garden center, landscaping, and horticulture business.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the supervision and management of the garden center.
- Act as the first point of call when a customer visits the garden center to make enquiries or purchases.
- Responsible for following up on customers requests for plants, tools, or pots.
- Accountable for plants, tools, and accessories in the garden center.
- Assist in managing all vendors and service providers.
- Carry out other tasks and duties as assigned.
- Responsible for documenting and communicating customer requests with the team.
- Assist in overseeing the propagation and pot production operations.
- Assist in the planning for production and costing.
- Responsible for all inventory.
- Assist the accounts department in maintaining inventory and stock taking.
- Assist in the management of suppliers.
- Assist with landscaping projects.
- Social media posting and analytics as assigned by the MD of the business.
Requirements:
- BSc Degree in horticulture or a similar course of study
- Minimum of 3 years of experience
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Can work to a high level unsupervised
- Intermediate level in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite
- Highly accurate record-keeping skills
- Strong team player with intermediate customer relationship management skills
