Job summary
We are seeking a competent Territory Sales Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute localised sales strategies tailored to the territory's market dynamics.
- Identify new business opportunities and target market segments for expansion.
- Train and mentor a team of Field Sales Representatives to improve their techniques.
- Set individual sales targets and performance goals for team members.
- Developing and executing strategies to increase sales, market share, and revenue within the designated territory.
- Monitor team performance through regular audits and provide constructive feedback.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key Customers and high-value clients.
- Resolve customer complaints and service issues to ensure high satisfaction levels.
- Manage renewals, upsells, and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts.
- Track competitor activities, pricing, and new product launches to stay competitive.
- Analyse regional market trends and customer feedback to inform product development.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in CRM systems.
- Generate regular reports on sales targets, conversion rates, and territory health.
- Coordinate with marketing and logistics to ensure product availability and campaign alignment.
Requirements:
- B.Sc/OND/HND in Marketing or any Social Science.
- Minimum of five (5) years of practical experience in pure sales in an FMCG or manufacturing company.
- Proficiency in analysing sales statistics to identify weak points and growth opportunities.
- Ability to create repeatable Sales Processes and long-term regional roadmaps.
- Must be geographically mobile.
- Must be proficient in the use of Ms Word and Excel.
- Possession of a valid E-Class Driver's Licence will be an added advantage.
- Not more than 40 years of age.
