Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:
Instruction & Curriculum Delivery:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons according to the school’s curriculum and educational standards.
  • Use a variety of instructional strategies (lectures, discussions, group work, projects, digital tools, etc.) to meet diverse learning styles.
  • Integrate technology and innovative methods to enhance teaching and learning outcomes.
  • Ensure lessons align with curriculum objectives and national/state standards.

Classroom Management:
  • Establish and maintain a structured, safe, and respectful classroom environment.
  • Enforce discipline in line with school policies and maintain positive behavior standards.
  • Organize classroom space, materials, and resources to optimize learning.

Assessment & Evaluation:
  • Design and administer tests, assignments, and projects to measure student progress.
  • Provide timely feedback and maintain accurate records of student performance.
  • Identify students’ strengths and areas needing improvement and adapt instruction accordingly.

Student Support & Development:
  • Provide academic guidance, mentorship, and encouragement to students.
  • Identify and support students with special needs or learning difficulties.
  • Encourage the development of critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
  • Foster respect, collaboration, and inclusivity among students.

Communication & Collaboration:
  • Communicate effectively with parents/guardians about students’ progress and challenges.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and school administrators to improve teaching practices.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development programs.
  • Engage with the school community through extracurricular activities, events, and projects.

Professional Conduct:
  • Adhere to school policies, educational regulations, and ethical teaching standards.
  • Maintain confidentiality of student information.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, punctuality, and reliability.
  • Continuously pursue personal and professional growth through training and research.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant subject area (Master’s degree preferred for higher levels).
  • Strong subject knowledge and instructional expertise.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Classroom management and organizational abilities.
  • Patience, empathy, and passion for teaching.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students.
  • Proficiency with digital learning tools and modern teaching methods.
