Subject Teacher

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and deliver lessons in accordance with the curriculum and learning objectives.
• Develop and implement instructional materials and teaching aids to enhance student learning.
• Assess and evaluate students’ progress through assignments, tests, and examinations.
• Provide constructive feedback to students and maintain accurate academic records.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies and maintain discipline.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school administrators to support student learning.
• Participate in school events, staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development.
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the varying needs and interests of students.
• Stay up to date with developments in education and subject matter expertise.

Requirements:

• First degree in Education (desirable) or equivalent years of experience 
• Additional qualification (desirable) 
• Teaching experience at primary and secondary school settings
• Using ICT to facilitate teaching and learning
• Good Communication skills
