Job summary
As a Student Counselor, you provide guidance to prospective students, helping them choose institutions that align with their academic and career goals. You offer accurate advice on study options, assist with application documents, support enrolment, and promote Kocia Consulting’s services.
Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Promotion and outreach for undergraduate and postgraduate activities include, but are not limited to, presenting in schools and organizations, attending fairs, and working directly with prospective students, guidance counselors, and parents. This will include traveling to and from presentations and events.
- Sourcing - Attracting, maintaining, and engaging with a pipeline of potential candidates through access to our database, telephonic conversations, emails, social media, and in-person conversations.
- Providing plenary advisory education consultant services.
- Staying up to date with the immigration policy changes, courses, universities, and overall, a robust understanding of the education sector.
- Coordinating with the wider team and manager to ensure the objectives of the wider organization are met.
Requirements:
- Good understanding of the education sector and placement of students into universities, including immigration requirements and processes.
- Experience in a sales or customer service-driven environment, including achieving individual and team-based targets.
- A bachelor’s or HND degree from a reputable university.
- 1-2 years of experience in a study abroad program focusing on the UK, Ireland, and Canada destinations.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including fluency in English, both verbal and written.
