Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Produce 4–6 white papers annually
  • Write and co-author peer-reviewed academic papers
  • Draft opinion and thought leadership pieces
  • Conduct original research and contribute to the newsletter
  • Represent the organisation at conferences and policy forums
  • Support fundraising with research-backed content
  • Collaborate with researchers and mentor interns


Requirements:

  • Excellent research, writing, and editing skills
  • Knowledge of African governance, development, or indigenous systems
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently
  • Top-tier journal experience
  • Mainstream media writing experience (Preferred)
  • Strong academic network (Preferred)
  • Familiarity with the Nigerian context (Preferred)
  • Grant writing or multilingual ability (Preferred)
