Job summary
The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for patients, visitors, and partners at IfeanHealth. The role is responsible for creating a warm and professional experience, managing front desk operations, coordinating appointments, and providing administrative support to ensure efficient daily operations of the organization.

Responsibilities:
Front Desk Management:
- Welcome and attend to patients, visitors, and clients courteously and professionally.
- Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
- Provide basic information about IfeanHealth’s services and direct visitors to appropriate departments.
Appointment & Patient Coordination:
- Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments for healthcare professionals.
- Maintain an accurate daily appointment log and ensure timely communication with patients.
- Assist in coordinating patient flow to minimize waiting time.
Communication Management:
- Receive and direct incoming phone calls, emails, and inquiries appropriately.
- Respond to general inquiries and escalate complex issues to the appropriate department.
- Ensure prompt communication between patients, staff, and management.
Administrative Support:
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of patient records and administrative documents.
- Assist with data entry, reports, and basic office documentation.
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, parcels, and documents.
Patient Experience & Service Excellence:
- Provide a welcoming and supportive environment for patients and visitors.
- Address complaints or concerns professionally and escalate when necessary.
- Ensure confidentiality of patient information and organizational data.
Operational Support:
- Support coordination of meetings and internal activities when required.
- Assist other departments with administrative tasks when necessary.
- Ensure adherence to IfeanHealth policies, procedures, and service standards.
Requirements:
- Minimum of OND / HND / Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Office Management, or related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in a receptionist, front desk, or customer service role (healthcare experience is an advantage).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good organizational and multitasking ability.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and basic administrative software.
