We are seeking a talented and dedicated Maintenance Supervisor to join our team and contribute to our continued success. As Maintenance Supervisor at Horizon II, the candidate will play a pivotal role in the maintenance operations of our facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our buildings, water treatment plant, sewage treatment plant, swimming pool, and other equipment/facilities are well- maintained, functional, and safe. This role requires strong leadership abilities, technical expertise, and excellent communication skills.
Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of contractor maintenance technicians/operators to ensure optimal performance of the water and sewage treatment plants in Horizon II.
- Plan and schedule maintenance activities to minimize downtime and maximize availability of key equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
- Coordinate with external service providers, vendors and contractors for repairs and maintenance services.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to prolong the lifespan of equipment and facilities.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and inventory.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Train and mentor maintenance staff to improve their skills and performance.
- Respond promptly to maintenance emergencies and resolve issues promptly.
Requirements:
- A minimum of an HND in engineering- or science-related fields.
- Proven experience as a maintenance supervisor or in a similar role.
- Technical expertise in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Technical expertise in the operations and maintenance of sewage and water treatment plants
- Strong leadership and managerial skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
