Responsibilities:
Installation Support & Quality Assurance:
- Accompany installation teams to client sites with required tools and equipment
- Follow a standardised installation checklist to verify correct materials are used (wire gauge, breaker ratings, terminal connections, cable routing)
- Flag any deviations or concerns to the founder immediately
- Retrieve company tools and equipment after each installation
- Take comprehensive before, during, and after photos at every installation site, following a photo requirements guide
Inventory & Asset Tracking:
- Record every item used per installation (wire lengths, connectors, MCCBs, cable ties, etc.)
- Update Inventory software after each job to maintain accurate stock levels
- Conduct periodic stock counts and reconcile with system records
- Report low-stock items before they become urgent
Regulatory & Administrative Errands:
- Handle visits to NSITF, NRS, CAC, other government agencies and clients as required
- Submit documents, follow up on processing, and return with receipts or proof of submission
- Track deadlines for regulatory filings and renewals
Procurement
& Logistics:
- Purchase electrical materials and accessories from markets as directed
- Collect shipments and deliveries from motor parks, terminals, and logistics companies
- Conduct market price surveys for common installation materials
- Maintain organised records of all purchases with receipts
Documentation
& Reporting:
- Provide daily end-of-day reports covering completed tasks, pending items, and issues encountered
- Maintain installation records with photos, materials used, and installer notes
- Keep organised digital and physical files for warranties, receipts, and client records
- Support data entry into accounting software and other business systems as required
Requirements:
- Minimum OND or equivalent qualification
- Must reside within or near D/Line, GRA, or Sani Abacha Road axis in Port Harcourt
- Honest and trustworthy — this role involves handling cash, inventory, and company equipment
- Detail-oriented and able to follow checklists and standard procedures consistently
- Reliable — shows up on time daily without being chased
- Comfortable using a smartphone for photos, WhatsApp communication, and basic apps
- Able to navigate government offices and markets confidently
- Clear communicator — reports problems immediately rather than hiding them
- Physically fit for fieldwork (carrying tools, visiting sites, moving between locations)
Desirable (Not Required):
- Basic understanding of electrical installations or willingness to learn
- Experience with inventory management software (Zoho or similar)
- Familiarity with solar/inverter systems or the renewable energy sector
- Previous experience in operations, logistics, or field coordination roles
