Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Deliver virtual therapy sessions (Speech, Occupational, Behavioural, or Developmental) for children with special needs.
- Develop and implement Individualised Therapy Plans (ITPs) based on each child’s assessment results and goals.
- Monitor and record progress, providing detailed reports and professional recommendations for families.
- Collaborate with parents, carers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective and consistent therapy outcomes.
- Provide guidance and home-based strategies to support progress between sessions.
- Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and adherence to ethical standards in all interactions.
- Remain up to date with current research and best practice in special needs therapy.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s or HND, Training and Certification in Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Behavioural Therapy, or a related field.
- A minimum of two years’ experience providing physical therapyfor children with special educational needs.
- Proficiency with online therapy platforms like Zoom and excellent digital communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and creativity in engaging children virtually.
- A reliable internet connection, laptop and a quiet, well-equipped workspace.
