Music Tutor

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging individual or group lessons in instrumental or vocal music.
• Evaluate student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records.
• Develop and deliver lesson plans aligned with educational standards and prepare teaching materials.
• Prepare students for recitals, concerts, exams, and auditions. 
• Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
• Encourage active participation, creativity, and a love for music.
• Foster students' musical and personal development. 
• Collaborate with other teachers and school staff to support musical activities and events.
• Maintain and organize instruments and equipment.
• Communicate with parents or guardians about student progress.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events. 

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Music, Linguistics, or a related field.
• TRCN certification is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of teaching experience.
• Ability to create engaging lesson plans and manage diverse classrooms.
• Passion for student development.
• Proficiency in educational technology and digital tools is an advantage.
