Job summary

NairaPoint is seeking an experienced and target-driven Head of Sales to lead revenue growth across our loan and investment products. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a Microfinance Bank or Finance House, strong leadership skills, and the ability to build and manage a high-performing sales team while driving customer acquisition

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute NairaPoint’s sales strategy to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth
  • Lead and manage the sales team to meet and exceed monthly/quarterly targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and key stakeholders
  • Drive sales pipeline management, reporting, and forecasting
  • Design and implement sales incentives, performance tracking, and coaching structures
  • Work closely with Operations and Risk teams to ensure quality loan onboarding and repayment performance
  • Identify market opportunities and develop strategies to expand product reach
  • Monitor competitor activities and recommend improvements to sales approach
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal sales policies


Requirements:

  • Minimum BSC
  • 3 years of previous experience in a similar role
Bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing Finance or related field 3–5 years experience in sales within an MFB or Finance House Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets Strong leadership team management Excellent communication negotiation and relationship management skills Strong understanding of loan products customer acquisition and sales operations
