We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Head of Sales for Nigeria to lead our sales operations and support our overall business development in this critical market. The Head of Sales will drive revenue growth, build strategic relationships, and position enee.io as the go-to solution for energy monitoring in Nigeria.
This role demands a proactive, tech-savvy leader who can hit the ground running, delivering immediate results while leading and mentoring the sales team to achieve ambitious goals. Additionally, the Head of Sales will play a key role in determining the future direction of the business, shaping strategic initiatives, and influencing long-term growth opportunities.

Job Description/Duties
Business Development
- Lead and scale performance of existing enee.io-approved distributors and partners to maximise channel revenue and market penetration.
- Identify and evaluate new geographic expansion opportunities; recruit, onboard, and enable high-performing distributors and strategic partners in new markets.
- Drive immediate revenue growth by leveraging enee.io’s CRM, installed base, and active deal pipeline.
- Generate new business by identifying and targeting high-potential opportunities across Nigeria; oversee the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.
- Leverage LinkedIn and other professional social media channels to drive inbound opportunities, strengthen industry relationships, and position enee.io as the leading energy monitoring solution in Nigeria.
- Drive faster deal closure by leveraging advanced negotiation and deal-structuring skills to shorten sales cycles and improve conversion rates.
- Build and maintain senior-level relationships with key end-users, renewable energy providers, EPCs, and concessional funding organizations.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, aligning their energy needs with enee.io’s solutions to deliver long-term value.
Sales Leadership
- Develop and execute a sales and marketing strategy tailored to Nigeria’s market, focusing on multi-site commercial businesses, such as banks, restaurant chains, pharmacies and food & grocery retail.
- Lead the identification and engagement of new business opportunities.
- Manage and mentor the sales team to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and KPI’s.
Operational Excellence
- Own and continuously improve the effectiveness of the CRM system to ensure accurate lead tracking, reliable sales forecasting, and data-driven decision-making.
- Provide strategic market intelligence and customer feedback to internal teams, ensuring product development and go-to-market strategies remain aligned with evolving market needs.
- Take end-to-end accountability for customer success, working closely with operations to ensure seamless delivery and installation of enee.io’s energy monitoring systems.
- Maintain executive-level relationships with key clients to ensure high customer satisfaction, repeat business, and long-term partnerships
- Lead by example in a high-growth environment, remaining hands-on when necessary to resolve customer issues and ensure exceptional execution.
Representation:
- Represent enee.io at industry events, exhibitions, and conferences to promote the brand and expand the customer base.
- Advocate for enee.io’s mission to deliver reliable, cost-effective energy monitoring solutions to Nigerian businesses and residential users.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Proven track record of generating high value sales, preferably in the energy or renewables sector.
- IoT hardware/software sales experience is desired.
- A strong network within Nigeria’s energy ecosystem, including key players in C&I, renewables, power/solar/energy-as-a-service and concessional funding.
- Knowledge of distributed energy systems, including solar, generators, and battery storage.
- Demonstrated ability to generate leads, progress deals, and close high-value sales.
- Tech-savvy, with experience managing and optimizing CRM systems.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, lean, and process-driven environment.
- A background in technology or engineering, particularly in IoT or energy systems.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively within Nigeria.
- Based in Lagos with a valid Nigerian driving license, preferably with own car.
