Job summary

The Front Desk Officer will be responsible for managing incoming communications, welcoming visitors, and providing first-level support to clients. The ideal candidate must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be highly organized, and reside within close proximity to our office location.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Receive and professionally handle incoming telephone calls.
  • Monitor and respond to enquiries received through the company's general email addresses.
  • Welcome and attend to visitors and clients visiting the office.
  • Provide first-level support and guidance to clients on routine enquiries.
  • Escalate complex customer issues to the appropriate departments.
  • Maintain visitor records and ensure a professional reception environment.
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate meetings when required.
  • Manage correspondence and perform general administrative duties.
  • Support other office operations as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of OND, HND, or Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to use email, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, internet browsers, and other common office applications.
  • Strong customer service orientation and professional telephone etiquette.
  • Good computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and email communication.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain professionalism under pressure.
  • Prior experience in a customer service, receptionist, front desk, or administrative role will be an added advantage.
  • Must reside in or around Yaba, Surulere, Maryland, Gbagada, Bariga, Somolu, Mushin, Fadeyi, or other nearby areas to facilitate easy commuting.
