The Equipment Manager oversees the acquisition, maintenance, tracking, and efficient utilization of all company equipment, machinery, and tools. The role ensures all assets are in optimal working condition, properly documented, safely operated, and available to support ongoing operations and project needs.

Job Description/Requirements
- Manage the daily operation and availability of all equipment and machinery.
- Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.
- Supervise equipment technicians, mechanics, and operators.
- Maintain accurate equipment records, service reports, and documentation.
- Coordinate equipment allocation, dispatch, and return for site operations.
- Inspect equipment regularly to ensure safety, compliance, and optimal performance.
- Monitor spare parts inventory and support procurement of replacement parts.
- Track equipment usage, performance, downtime, and operating costs.
- Handle equipment breakdowns, repairs, and emergency maintenance.
- Recommend equipment upgrades, replacements, or disposal.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards, regulatory compliance, and operational policies.
Requirements:
- Degree/HND in Mechanical Engineering, Equipment Management, Logistics, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience managing industrial, construction, or heavy-duty equipment.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures, equipment troubleshooting, and diagnostics.
- Experience supervising technicians, operators, and workshop teams.
- Excellent record-keeping, reporting, and asset management skills.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly to equipment issues.
