Inventory / Stock Control Officer

As part of our expansion, we are seeking a disciplined and detail-driven Inventory / Stock Control Officer to strengthen our stock control and cost management processes at our Badagry location.

Responsibilities
- Control and monitor all stock movements, including receipts, issues, transfers, and adjustments.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly physical stock counts and reconciliations.
- Enforce FIFO and FEFO inventory practices, particularly for perishable items.
- Prepare inventory valuation, consumption, and variance reports for management review.
- Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies, damages, or losses.
- Ensure compliance with inventory policies and internal control procedures.
- Liaise with procurement, kitchen, housekeeping, maintenance, and operations teams.
- Support internal and external audits relating to inventory and stores.
Requirements:
- 4–6 years’ experience in inventory or stock control within the hospitality industry.
- HND/B.Sc. in Accounting, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of stock control, cost management, and audit processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory or accounting systems.
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Prior hotel or resort experience is required.
