Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain high-quality goods at competitive prices.
- Process purchase requisitions and issue purchase orders in line with approved budgets.
- Ensure the timely delivery of goods and services across all hotel departments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with reliable vendors and suppliers.
- Monitor inventory levels in collaboration with storekeeping staff.
- Support cost-control initiatives and prevent stock shortages or overstocking.
- Maintain accurate procurement documentation and records.
- Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and audit requirements.
- Liaise effectively with housekeeping, kitchen, maintenance, and front office teams.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement systems.
Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Purchasing & Supply, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4–6 years’ hands-on procurement experience within the hospitality industry.
- Professional procurement certification (CIPS, CIPSMN, or equivalent) is an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of hotel purchasing, inventory, and cost-control processes.
