Inventory Officer
Job summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Officer to manage stock levels, ensure accurate inventory records, and prevent stock discrepancies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring inventory movements, conducting stock counts, and maintaining proper documentation to support operational efficiency.
Job descriptions & requirements
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock availability
- Maintain accurate records of stock receipts, transfers, and issuances
- Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies
- Track damaged, expired, or obsolete stock and prepare necessary reports
- Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams for stock replenishment
- Ensure proper storage and handling of inventory items
- Prepare periodic inventory reports for management review
- Implement inventory control procedures to minimize losses
- Support audit processes by providing the required inventory documentation
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience
- Minimum of a BSc.
