To lead and optimise end-to-end warehousing, logistics, customs clearance, inventory, and asset management operations, ensuring the timely availability of CAPEX and OPEX materials to support network deployment, commercial operations, and business growth objectives. The role is responsible for driving inventory efficiency, cost optimisation, regulatory compliance, warehouse governance, and continuous process improvement across the supply chain network

Responsibilities:

Optimised inventory & Asset  Utilisation:

  • Accurate inventory,  optimised asset utilisation, minimal ageing, obsolete, and excess stock.
  • Lead warehouse and inventory management across all locations. 
  • Maintain inventory accuracy, visibility, and control.  
  • Optimise warehouse capacity and material handling processes. 
  • Manage CWIP, aged inventory, and asset lifecycle performance. 
  • Drive inventory utilisation and working capital efficiency.


Operational Excellence &  Continuous Improvement:

  • Efficient, standardised, and high-performing warehousing and logistics operations.
  • Ensure timely processing of warehouse transactions and material movements. 
  • Manage repair, return, and recovery processes. 
  • Establish and monitor operational KPIs and service levels. 
  • Drive continuous improvement, automation, and productivity initiatives. 
  • Lead supply chain optimisation projects.


Logistics & Material Availability:

  • Timely availability and delivery of materials, devices, and SIMs to support business and network requirements.
  • Lead nationwide logistics and distribution operations. 
  • Ensure material availability across all locations.  
  • Oversee demand planning, replenishment, and inventory deployment.  
  • Optimise transportation performance and service levels. 
  • Support business growth through effective supply chain execution.


Compliance, Governance &  Customs Management:

  • Full regulatory compliance, strong internal controls, and effective customs management with minimal business risk.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards.  
  • Lead customs clearance and import management activities. 
  • Maintain robust inventory and asset control frameworks. 
  • Oversee inventory verification and audit remediation processes. 
  • Minimise customs-related delays, costs, and compliance risks.


Cost & Partner Performance  Management:

  • Cost-efficient operations supported by high-performing vendor partnerships and effective stakeholder collaboration. 
  • Optimise warehousing, logistics, and inventory management costs. 
  • Manage logistics, warehouse, and customs service providers. 
  • Monitor vendor performance against SLAs and KPIs.
  • Support contract management and commercial negotiations. 
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to improve supply chain performance.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or any Numerical Sciences 
  • Member of CIPS or Transport & Logistics qualifications is an added advantage 
  • Master's would be an additional preferred qualification
  • Minimum 10–15 years of experience in warehousing, logistics, inventory management, and supply chain operations. 
  • At least 5 years in a senior leadership role managing multiple warehouse locations and logistics operations. 
  • Experience in telecommunications, technology, FMCG, manufacturing, or large-scale distribution environments preferred.
  • Vast knowledge and strong data crunching & analysis skills
  • Ability to use data to draw meaningful and insightful information for business decisions
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Partner and Stakeholder Management
  • Ability to innovate and deliver value to business at multiple levels will play an important  role  
  • Ability to manage large scale with a very wide geographical scope across Nigeria
  • Ability to manage an outsourcing partner to deliver business solutions
