Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver comprehensive lesson plans on computer science topics, including programming, software applications, hardware, and cybersecurity.
- Teach courses in computer science and related subjects, such as coding languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++), web development, database management, and computer networking.
- Create a stimulating classroom environment that encourages hands-on learning and fosters critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Assess and evaluate student performance through assignments, projects, and exams, providing timely feedback and support to enhance their learning experience.
- Integrate current technology and educational tools to support and enrich the teaching process, keeping pace with advancements in the field.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the computer science curriculum and participate in professional development opportunities to stay updated on the latest industry trends and educational practices.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school administrators regarding academic progress, technology-related issues, and classroom activities.
- Promote safe and ethical use of technology, ensuring students understand and adhere to best practices for digital citizenship and online security.
Requirements:
