Early Years Teacher

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging learning activities that promote early childhood development
• Create a supportive, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment that caters to the diverse needs and abilities of all children
• Observe, assess, and prepare progress reports on each child’s development
• Ensure a safe, secure, and nurturing classroom environment
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and maintain alignment with the school’s curriculum standards
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding students’ progress and well-being
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development programs, and school events

Requirements:

• Minimum qualification: B.Ed or NCE (or both) in Early Childhood Education or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years’ work experience in early years or nursery education
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent subject knowledge and early years teaching skills
• Ability to design and implement individualised learning plans
• Positive interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with young children effectively
• Strong classroom management and organisational abilities
• Commitment to continuous professional growth

Remuneration: NGN 140,000
