Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean floors, walls, and other surfaces.
- Dust and wipe furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
- Empty trash bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
- Replenish cleaning supplies, toiletries, and other consumables.
- Report maintenance issues, damage, or safety hazards to the supervisor.
- Operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning chemicals safely.
- Follow health, safety, and company cleaning standards.
- Perform any other cleaning-related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Minimum of a Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) or equivalent.
- Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is an added advantage.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment, chemicals, and safety procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Honest, reliable, and punctual.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or shifts if required.
