Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Wash and treat customers’ garments according to fabric type and care instructions.
- Identify and properly treat stains before washing.
- Operate washing machines and steam irons safely.
- Iron and finish garments neatly and professionally.
- Check garments after washing and ironing for remaining stains, damage or poor finishing.
- Avoid improper starching or ironing that could damage garments.
- Separate garments according to colour, fabric, and washing requirements.
- Keep the washing and ironing area clean and organized.
- Report damaged garments, difficult stains or equipment problems to the supervisor.
- Follow PUREVAULT’s garment-tracking and quality-control procedures.
- Ensure garments are properly counted, folded, and handed over for final quality control.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper use of detergents and laundry equipment.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience
- A minimum of a degree in a related field
