Job Description/Requirements
- Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities in gadgets, electronics, and accessories retail.
- Execute field sales activities, including in-store visits, product placement, retail activations, and trade promotions.
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales, revenue, and market share targets.
- Manage product distribution across retail channels, ensuring visibility and availability.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers, distributors, and vendors in the electronics ecosystem.
- Negotiate commercial terms and partnership agreements to maximize profitability and long-term collaboration.
- Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to deliver retail-focused campaigns and activations.
- Monitor KPIs, prepare performance reports, and recommend sales and operational improvements.
- Conduct ongoing market research on consumer behavior, competitors, and retail trends.
- Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry networking events.
- Minimum 3 years’ proven experience in business development and retail sales, with involvement in field sales execution.
- Strong track record of driving sales growth in gadgets, consumer electronics, or accessories.
- Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Solid understanding of retail operations, distribution, and consumer buying trends.
- Hands-on experience managing field sales activities such as retail visits, in-store activations, and trade marketing.
- Proficiency with CRM and sales reporting tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- An existing network of retail buyers, distributors, or vendors in electronics is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of retail technology, e-commerce, and omnichannel sales strategies is a plus.
