Business Development Executive

• Shipping Coordination: Organize and oversee the dispatching of products to customers or warehouses, ensuring on-time delivery and accurate documentation.
  
• Inventory Management: Monitor and track stock levels to ensure adequate inventory is available for shipping. Assist with stocktaking and inventory audits.
  
• Logistics Management: Work with third-party logistics providers and carriers to ensure optimal shipping routes, cost-efficiency, and compliance with shipping regulations.
  
• Documentation & Record Keeping: Prepare and maintain shipping documents such as bills of lading, shipping invoices, and customs declarations, ensuring compliance with local and international shipping laws.
  
• Customer Communication: Communicate with customers regarding shipping status, delivery dates, and any issues that may arise during the shipping process.
  
• Cost Control: Ensure that shipping costs are kept within budget and explore cost-effective solutions without compromising service quality.
  
• Problem Resolution: Address any shipping or logistics-related issues, including delays, damaged goods, or discrepancies, and provide solutions to resolve them promptly.
  
• Reporting: Generate reports on shipping performance, delivery times, costs, and other logistics-related metrics for management review.
  
• Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about international shipping laws, tariffs, and regulations, ensuring that all shipments comply with local and international requirements.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred).
• Proven experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain management.
• Strong understanding of shipping software and tracking systems (experience with [insert software/tools] is a plus).
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of international shipping regulations and customs procedures is an advantage.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically when faced with challenges.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Experience in the e-commerce or retail industry. (Preferred)
• Familiarity with logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar systems). (Preferred)
• Forklift certification (if applicable). (Preferred)
