AI Cinematic Short Film Creator and Editor

Responsibilities:

• Create cinematic AI short films, minimum 8 minutes, using visual storytelling with clear cause and effect.
• Generate image to video and text to video clips using AI tools, and write strong, repeatable prompts for consistent results.
• Maintain character continuity across all scenes using reference images, locked character prompts, and signature identifiers.
• Assemble clips into a coherent storyline with clean cuts, purposeful transitions, and consistent pacing built for high retention.
• Add full sound design, ambience, music theme plus variations, and realistic SFX, then deliver polished final exports.
• Apply revisions efficiently based on feedback while protecting continuity and story clarity.
• Manage and organize all assets, prompts, references, and project files for a smooth production workflow.
• Stay updated on YouTube trends, AI video tools, and cinematic editing techniques to improve quality and retention.

Requirements:

• Strong prompt engineering skills for cinematic shots, including character locks, environment locks, camera direction, lighting direction, and repeatable templates.
• Proven hands on experience with AI video generation tools, including image to video and text to video workflows, plus strong prompt writing and prompt iteration, for example Runway, Luma, Grok, Pika, Kling, OpenArt AI, or similar tools.
• Strong cinematic editing skills, clip sequencing, pacing, transitions, and continuity control across many scenes.
• Ability to maintain character consistency using reference images, locked character prompts, signature identifiers, and style guides.
• Solid finishing skills, color matching across mixed AI clips, basic grading, stabilization, cleanup, and export settings for YouTube.
• Sound design and audio mixing skills to achieve a cinematic feel, ambience layers, SFX, music theme plus variations, clean loudness.
• Strong asset and project management, organized folders, naming conventions, prompt logs, reference libraries, and version control of edits.
• Reliable communication and delivery, meets deadlines, takes feedback well, and can match a provided reference style closely.
• Uses AI tools to enhance post production, upscaling, cleanup, dialogue free storytelling support, and workflow automation where helpful.
• Creative, detail oriented, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
