Administrative Officer
Job summary
The administrative officer will provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to ensure the smooth running of the pet business. This role involves managing office activities, maintaining records, coordinating staff, and supporting customer service operations.

Responsibilities:
Office Administration:
- Manage daily office operations and ensure efficiency
- Maintain proper filing systems (physical and digital)
- Handle correspondence, emails, and phone calls
Record Keeping & Inventory Support:
- Maintain records of sales, expenses, and supplies
- Assist in tracking inventory of pet products and supplies
- Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure stock availability
Customer Service Support:
- Attend to walk-in customers and inquiries
- Support scheduling of services (e.g., grooming, vet visits if applicable)
- Ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming environment
Staff Coordination:
- Assist in staff scheduling and attendance tracking
- Support internal communication across departments
- Help enforce company policies and procedures
Operational Support:
- Assist in the procurement of office and pet care supplies
- Support logistics and coordination of deliveries
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field
- A minimum of 2 years of administrative experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
- Experience in retail or pet-related business is an advantage
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Basic knowledge of pet care is a plus
Remuneration: NGN 200,000
