We are seeking a versatile Video Editor to own the creative vision and execution for cinematic projects and thought leadership content.

Responsibilities:
- Produce cinematic long form and short form videos that translate themes, mood boards, and song briefs into compelling visual stories
- Use AI to build and refine storyboards, shot sequences, and visual plans from high-level direction
- Assemble AI‑generated assets into polished, consistent, narrative‑driven videos
- Craft high-impact music videos, visualizers, and lyric videos from concept to completion.
- Proactively use company-provided AI video generation tools to create custom, original footage based on detailed prompts. You will turn scripts and mood boards into dynamic visual sequences.
- Manage the entire workflow for long-form videos, including editing for pacing, adding B-roll, optimising for YouTube, and creating clips for virality.
- Produce attention-grabbing short-form content (e.g., for TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts) for the consulting brand, translating complex ideas into digestible and shareable videos.
- Translate high-level creative direction into detailed storyboards, shot lists, and visual concepts, often using AI-assisted tools to brainstorm and plan sequences.
- Execute high-quality post-production, including advanced colour grading, sound design, motion graphics, and visual effects to elevate the production value.
- Edit and produce authentic User-Generated Content (UGC) style ads from provided scripts, mastering the raw, authentic aesthetic that drives high engagement and conversions
- Seamlessly work across industry-standard and accessible tools, including Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, to ensure efficiency and quality.
Requirements:
- A strong portfolio demonstrating storytelling ability and a cinematic eye, especially in projects related to music, concept-driven content, or fast-paced commercial brand content
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in video editing and content creation managing end to end
- A foundational understanding of cinematography principles (lighting, composition, camera movement) and story telling is essential.
- Proven experience with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
- A strong curiosity and willingness to master AI video generation tools and workflows.
- Ability to work autonomously, manage deadlines, and handle large video files (500MB+).
- Minimum 5mbps internet speed and access to a computer that can handle demanding video processing.
- Excellent communication skills to interpret feedback and articulate creative ideas.
