Job Summary
We are looking to hire a talented and experienced Video Editor to join our ministry media team. As a video editor, you will be responsible for assembling recorded film and video footage, applying artistic editing techniques and creating finished projects that accurately reflect the vision of the mi ministry
- Minimum Qualification : OND
- Experience Level : Entry level
- Experience Length : 2 years
Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Filming video
- Working with creative teams to plan video shoots
- Setting up and taking down cameras, microphones, lighting, props and other equipment
- Editing footage after recording
- Adding computer graphics, closed captioning, and special effects to footage
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
Requirements:
- This position is preferably open to a female candidate
- Multitasking skills for working with many crew members at once
- Creative thinking with an excellent eye for detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of post-production techniques
- Physical ability to move and hold recording equipment for long periods
- Understanding of computer software used for planning, editing, and scripting
