Job Summary

The Digital Commerce Architect (DCA) is responsible for optimizing e-commerce infrastructure, managing digital channels, and improving website performance. This role suits someone with deep Shopify expertise, landing page optimization skills, SEO know-how, and experience managing Google Business listings.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

E-commerce Performance & Optimization: 
  • Optimize site speed, user experience, and conversion rates
  • Audit pages, product listings, and overall website performance regularly
  • Optimize product pages, images, URLs, metadata, and landing pages for SEO

Google Business & Digital Presence:
  • Manage and optimize Tega Milton’s Google Business listing, ensuring up-to-date information, posts, and customer reviews
  • Monitor and enhance online visibility and local search performance

Technical Integrations & Automations:
  • Connect Shopify to CRM, inventory, invoicing, accounting, and fulfilment systems
  • Maintain and optimize integrations (Zoho preferred)
  • Ensure accurate syncing of sales, customer data, and inventory across platforms

SEO & Content Infrastructure:
  • Implement on-site SEO best practices
  • Support CMS with blog structure, keyword planning, and metadata enhancements
  • Ensure technical SEO compliance across the website

Data, Analytics & Reporting:
  • Track KPIs such as traffic, conversions, retention, and AOV
  • Set up dashboards and reports using GA4, Meta Pixel, and other analytics tools

Email, Domain & Security Management:
  • Configure DNS settings (CNAME, A, AAA, MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC)
  • Maintain professional email systems and ensure deliverability\
  • Monitor site security, backups, and uptime

Technical Support & Troubleshooting:
  • Provide technical assistance to the team and internal users
  • Resolve issues related to payments, integrations, apps, or store errors

Requirements:
  • Minimum of an HND qualification 
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience
  • Strong experience managing Shopify or other e-commerce platforms
  • Deep understanding of Google Business management, landing pages, SEO, and analytics
  • Solid knowledge of DNS records, email authentication, API integrations, and workflow automations
  • Experience with CRM systems and workflow integration (Zoho preferred)
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with creative and sales teams
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
