Job summary

We need a Photo Editor/Assistant Photographer at Knowls Collines Limited to boost our photography events and visual content. You will edit photos and assist in photography projects, requiring a creative eye, technical proficiency, and a passion for visual storytelling.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Edit and retouch photos to meet the agency's quality standards.
  • Ensure consistency in style, color, and tone across all visual assets.
  • Collaborate with creative teams to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality edited images.
  • Assist in various stages of the photography process, including setting up equipment, lighting, and composition.
  • Work closely with photographers to capture and create compelling visual content.
  • Manage and organize the digital image library for easy accessibility.
  • Collaborate with graphic designers and other team members to ensure cohesive and visually appealing design concepts.
  • Provide creative input and suggestions to enhance the overall quality of visual content.
  • Conduct thorough quality checks to ensure that all visual content/pictures/videos meet the agency's standards before final delivery.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the quality of visual assets.


Requirements:

  • Minimum academic qualification of OND in any field.
  • Previous experience practicing or working with a photography studio is a plus.
  • A portfolio demonstrating a strong eye for visual aesthetics and proficiency in photo editing.
  • Proven experience as a Photo Editor or Assistant Photographer.
  • Proficiency in photo editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom).
  • Strong understanding of photography principles, including lighting, composition, and color theory.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a creative team.
  • Strong communication skills.
