Graphics Design/IT Support Officer

Responsibilities:

• Project Management: Manage multiple projects, set realistic deadlines, and work within budget constraints.
• Collaboration: Work with clients, marketing teams, copywriters, and other designers to understand requirements and ensure a cohesive final product.
• Client Interaction: Discuss client needs and project requirements to create a design brief.
• Feedback and Revisions: Present design drafts to stakeholders and incorporate feedback to make necessary changes.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all final designs are high-quality, accurate, and consistent with brand guidelines.
• Staying Current: Keep up with the latest design trends, software, and technology to improve skills and creative output.
• Conceptualize and create visual designs for marketing materials, social media, websites, and print media
• Develop branding materials including logos, flyers, posters, brochures, and digital banners
• Collaborate with the marketing and communications/Media teams to create compelling visual    campaigns
• Ensure design consistency across all platforms and materials
• Record with video editing, motion graphics, and basic multimedia content creation

IT Support Functions:

• Maintain and troubleshoot computer systems, networks, and software
• Install, configure, and update hardware and software applications
• Provide technical support to staff and ensure prompt resolution of IT-related issues
• Ensure data security, regular backups, and system performance monitoring
• Manage company email systems, internet connectivity, and IT assets inventory
• Support virtual meetings, digital tools, and online communication platforms

Key Functions:

• Visual Communication: Develop creative concepts and visual assets that communicate ideas to a target audience.
• Brand Development: Design logos, branding materials, and other assets to build and maintain a consistent brand identity.
• Layout and Design: Create layouts for a variety of projects, including websites, advertisements, brochures, social media graphics, and packaging.
• Asset Creation: Produce graphics using design software, which can include creating illustrations, editing photos, and typesetting copy.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, Graphics Design, or a related field
• Minimum of 2–3 years relevant experience in IT support and/or graphics design role
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, CorelDRAW, InDesign, or Canva
• Working knowledge of computer networking, troubleshooting, and system maintenance
• Familiarity with website management (WordPress or similar platforms) is an added advantage
• Strong creativity, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
