We are seeking to hire a creative and hands-on UI/UX Design Instructor (Kids) to lead practical and engaging UI/UX Design sessions for children and teens aged 7 to 18 during our on-site summer tech program. We offer physical and live online tech courses for children. In this role, you will introduce students to the world of UI/UX Design. Open to students seeking internships.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Manage a classroom of 5-20 students.
- Develop and deliver hands-on, beginner-friendly UI/UX lessons tailored to age groups (7–12, 13–18).
- Introduce core design concepts such as wireframing, user journeys, visual hierarchy, and prototyping.
- Teach basic use of tools like Figma, Canva, or other visual design tools appropriate for kids.
- Guide students through mini-projects that allow them to create and present their own app or website mockups.
- Encourage collaboration, creativity, and design thinking in the classroom.
- Track student engagement and progress, and provide constructive feedback.
- Prepare teaching materials ahead of sessions and collaborate with the program team.
Requirements:
- Student or Graduate of Computer Science, Communications, Design or related fields (preferred).
- Minimum of 1 year experience in UI/UX design.
- Strong knowledge of UI/UX principles and design tools (especially Figma or Canva).
- Experience teaching or working with children or teens in a classroom or workshop setting.
- Ability to simplify abstract concepts into engaging and interactive lessons.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Must be available for the entire duration of the program (July–August).
- Must reside in Port Harcourt.
Bonus: Experience in STEM education, edtech, or running coding clubs for kids.
