Ticketing and Reservation Officer
Job summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Ticketing and Reservation Officer to manage flight bookings, ticket issuance, reissues, and customer travel needs. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of reservation systems and excellent communication skills. Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities:
- Handle flight reservations, bookings, ticket issuance, and re-issuance
- Provide accurate fare quotations and travel advice to clients
- Process refunds, cancellations, and changes in line with airline policies
- Use GDS systems (e.g., Amadeus) for booking and ticketing
- Interpret fare rules, penalties, and conditions for customers
- Manage BSP refunds and follow up with airlines when necessary
- Ensure all bookings are properly documented and filed
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and walk-ins
- Maintain high levels of customer service and professionalism
Requirements:
- Minimum of OND/HND/B.Sc in any related field
- Proven experience as a Ticketing and Reservation Officer
- Proficiency in Amadeus GDS (mandatory)
- Good understanding of airline fare rules and ticketing procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of multiple airlines and routing options
- Sales and customer service experience
