Teacher

Responsibilities:

• Present lessons in a comprehensive manner and use visual/audio means to facilitate learning
• Provide individualized instruction to each student by promoting interactive learning
• Create and distribute educational content (notes, summaries, assignments etc.)
• Assess and record students’ progress and provide grades and feedback
• Maintain a tidy and orderly classroom
• Collaborate with other teachers, parents and stakeholders and participate in regular meetings
• Plan and execute educational in-class and outdoor activities and events
• Observe and understand students’ behaviour and psyche and report suspicions of neglect, abuse etc.
• Develop and enrich professional skills and knowledge by attending seminars, conferences etc.

Requirements:

• A minimum academic qualification of second-class upper Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant field.
• 1 - 3 years of working experience
• Teaching Certification: Must possess relevant teaching certifications and licenses for teachers. 
• Problem-Solving: A proactive approach to identifying and resolving challenges in an educational setting.
• Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the British and Nigerian education systems and curriculum.
• Passion for Education: A genuine passion for education and a commitment to the success and well-being of students.
• A good knowledge in the use of computer and interactive display board will be an added advantage.
