Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Take measurements and assess client needs to create custom garments or perform alterations.
- Interpret design sketches and recommend suitable fabric and design options to clients.
- Cut, sew, and assemble garments using sewing machines or needling
- Perform fittings and adjust garments according to customer specifications to ensure a perfect fit (e.g., resizing, shortening, lengthening).
- Repair clothing items, including replacing zippers, buttons, and linings.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
- Keep accurate records of customer orders and fittings.
- Manage time effectively to meet production and delivery deadlines.
- Collaborate with team members or fashion designers (if applicable).
- Maintain clean finishing and high-quality craftsmanship in all garments
- Maintain and operate sewing machines and other tailoring equipment
Requirements:
- 2 years of tailoring experience
- Good communication skills
- Excellent customer relationship skills
